Nemetschek North America Partners with ESP Vision

Nemetschek North America has announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with ESP Studios to provide a complete design, visualization, and simulation solution to lighting designers worldwide. The partnership teams the powerful 2D drafting, 3D modeling and rendering capabilities of VectorWorks Spotlight with the advanced rendering and real-time lighting simulation capabilities of ESP Vision. Lighting designers can now easily conceptualize their design, generate the necessary drawings and paperwork, and create 3D models in VectorWorks Spotlight, then move their models directly into ESP Vision to simulate and cue their work.

"ESP Vision's best in class visualization and real-time simulation are the perfect complement to VectorWorks Spotlight's powerful drafting and modeling capabilities," says Dan Monaghan, director of marketing for Nemetschek North America. "This partnering offers ESP Vision users access to a CAD package that is widely regarded as the industry standard. It also gives VectorWorks Spotlight users the ability to realistically simulate their designs on any lighting console in real time for the first time.
