Philips MSR GOLD now in MAC 2000 Series
Beginning June, 2005 all Martin MAC 2000 Series moving heads will be equipped with the Philips MSR Gold lamp. Philips developed this double-ended lamp with “Golden” lamp caps especially for the MAC 2000 Series. The new MSR puts perfect, pure colors on stage, based on pure white light.
Martin’s choice for Philips is a major recognition of the quality of the MSR 1200 SA/DE Gold. This lamp has the latest HID lamp filling technology, which creates a color consistency for the whole MSR range. Also, “the lamp with the golden caps” creates a better conduction from the lamp to the lamp holder, which reduces the number of lamp holder damages significantly. The “MSR Gold” is Martin and Philips’ latest solution for demanding stage performances.
The MAC 2000 Series is Martin’s high performance lighting solution for touring, theater and special events. It delivers an exceptional combination of extreme power and new projection possibilities. All MAC 2000’s are now equipped with the Philips Gold plated lamp caps. The Golden lamp features the patented Philips P3 pinch protection allowing pinch temperatures up to 500°C!
