Meyer Sound Appointments

Meyer Sound has announced that pro audio industry veteran Will Lewis has been appointed to the newly created position of Southwest regional sales manager as part of the company’s effort to best serve the growing demand in the Western U.S. region. His territory will encompass Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

Lewis has worked in professional audio for more than 30 years, serving in a variety of different capacities ranging from manufacturer’s representative to live sound engineer with a focus on theatrical productions. Most recently, Lewis was the principal at design/build firm Conceptual Engineering, where he frequently specified and installed Meyer Sound equipment. Lewis played key roles in such high-profile Meyer Sound installations as the large-scale 5.1 surround system in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, and the dual voice/music systems at Phoenix First Assembly of God in Phoenix, Ariz.

Meyer Sound has also announced that Kurt Metzler has been appointed to the newly created position of Northwest regional sales manager. Metzler’s territory will cover Alaska, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Metzler’s well-rounded background includes stints as a live sound engineer, sound company owner, founder and owner of a successful professional audio retail store, and manufacturer’s representative, as well as high-level positions at Radian Loudspeakers, Sennheiser Electronic, and LOUD Technologies. Armed with first-hand field experience and familiarity with sales at every level, Metzler is fully prepared to provide the Northwest region with the knowledgeable and personalized service for which Meyer Sound is known.
