Abe V. Systems Adds JBL Vertec Line Array System
Demonstrating the unmatched power and versatility of the JBL Professional VERTEC line array series, Abe V. Systems of the Bronx, NY, recently purchased a full Vertec VT4889 line array system after evaluating numerous options. The purchase reinforces the Vertec system as a global touring standard. Abe V. Systems has been using the new rig for concert events in the New York area with major international artists.
A leading sound reinforcement company since 1982, Abe V. Systems is the vision of president Abraham Viera. Through collaboration with his sons and vice presidents Abraham Viera Jr., and Daniel Viera, and general manager Manny Martinez, Abe V. Systems has established itself as a sound provider for some of the world’s best-known headliners in world-class venues. The company is a driving force in the entertainment community as well as New York’s local communities, where Abraham Viera personally champions many philanthropic causes. Artists that have worked with Abe V. Systems include Dave Matthews, Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony, among others.
Abe V. Systems’ first event utilizing the Vertec VT4889 system was ‘El Spring Bling Blineo’, sponsored by Univision Radio’s La Kalle 105.9 FM. Held April 21 at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, NY, the event featured Reggaeton stars including Daddy Yankee and Aventura.
On April 28, Abe V. Systems provided the new VT4889 system for La Mega 97.9 FM’s ‘Mega Concierto’. Held at Madison Square Garden, the concert was headlined by Latin artists Victor Manuel, Jerry Rivera and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
