Press Award for JBL Professional

Press Award for JBL Professional

At the Musik Messe in Frankfurt JBL Professional was the recipient of a MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) in the Best Club PA category for its VRX900 portable line array series. The award is a reflection of the VRX900 Series’ ability to bring the unmatched qualities of JBL’s VerTec Series to small to medium size entertainment venues.

“Having developed the VRX900 Series with the goal of providing tour sound-proven versatility and performance to smaller venues, we are thrilled to have the VRX900 named the winner of the MIPA Best Club PA award,” said Simon Jones, director of portable PA marketing for JBL. “The VRX900 Series has received widespread recognition as a versatile and powerful loudspeaker solution for a variety of environments, and the club industry has been a huge market for the product.”

Designed for venues requiring shorter throw distances, the JBL Professional VRX900 Series incorporates the high power and light weight of the successful JBL VERTEC Series, packaged in compelling form factor for a wide variety of portable and fixed applications. The VRX932LA is a compact 12-inch, two-way line array loudspeaker designed for use in arrays of up to six units. Each speaker has a 15-degree (nominal) vertical coverage angle. This means that a single enclosure or arrays consisting of two or three speakers can provide practical vertical coverage.
