Courtney Spencer Joins SIA Acoustics as Director of Marketing
SIA Acoustics announced the appointment of Courtney Spencer as director of marketing. Spencer is an experienced audio industry executive and was VP/GM of Sony’s pro audio division from 1990 to 2001. He was COO of Dale Pro Audio and most recently, a partner in a start-up web-based acoustical products and consulting company.
As director of marketing for SIA Acoustics, he will be responsible for sales and marketing activities including new business development, and the company’s PR, advertising and web efforts. Commenting on the appointment, SIA Acoustics principal Sam Berkow said: “We are very pleased to be able to add Courtney as a key member of our management team. His reputation and experience speak for themselves. We are confident that he will play a major role in helping SIA expand and develop its business.”
Commenting on his decision to join SIA, Courtney Spencer said: “SIA has built a remarkable track record working on some of the most prestigious and acoustically complex projects in recent years. I have great respect for their work and the competence they bring to the table. I am very excited to be able to join Sam and Steve and the rest of the SIA team.”
