Dawn Returns to Sennheiser
The marketing division at Sennheiser Electronic Corporation is happy to welcome former team mate Dawn Birr back into the fold as product manager for Professional Products and HHB International. Birr returns after a brief, six-month stint away from Sennheiser. She will take charge of product marketing for the esteemed 3000 and 5000-Series wireless microphone systems, the MKH and MKE Series of theater, film, and video microphones, broadcast boom sets, and the HSP Series of professional headset microphones.
"I'm back because I missed the company, the people, and the products," Birr explained. "Before my departure, I had been working at Sennheiser as the Industry Team Leader for Neumann and all distributed brands for six years and discovered I was really hooked into the professional audio world and all of its idiosyncrasies. I look forward to reconnecting with my old customers, friends and serving the growing Sennheiser and HHB client base to the very best of my abilities."
Jeff Alexander, Sennheiser VP sales and marketing-professional products, was particularly pleased to have Birr back. "We've been pretty reflective around here lately since this is the 50th anniversary of Sennheiser wireless, and it makes you wonder what the next 50 years will bring. Under Dawn's capable leadership, the future looks very bright with our most respected high-end wireless product lines. She's the sort of person who not only has clear vision, but the personality and wherewithal to communicate and inspire others with that vision. She was and will be a great asset to Sennheiser.
