Cold Play in South America with Laser Design Productions
As an extension to the Twisted Logic Tour, Coldplay recently capped off a three week tour in South America. Once again, Laser Design Productions Inc. provided laser effects with their new compact 5 watt air-cooled white light diode laser system.
The 11-show circuit was hosted across four different venues in Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Sao Paolo, Brazil and Mexico City, Mexico. According to Mark Ward, Coldplay’s production manager: “The South American Tour was a huge success.”
The new technology Laser was a great solution to the production management’s concerns of equipment size, weight, power consumption and venue water limitations. The 5 watt air cooled diode laser provided spectacular multi-color atmospheric and beam effects. Mark Ward made the following comment on the new diode laser: “Great product, great crew - what more could I ask? And it looks brilliant, by the way . . .”
