Management Changes in Color Kinetics Team
Keith Gillum has been promoted to Director of Entertainment Sales. Previously serving as the Manager of Sales for the Los Angeles region, Keith will now drive national sales programs for entertainment dealer and rental companies, and continue to foster Color Kinetics’ reach in key development areas such as television, video, theatrical design as well as theme operations. Keith joined Color Kinetics in 2004 and has worked on many high-profile projects in his tenure, including the Hollywood Bowl, the set of Deal or No Deal, the LAX Pylons and Super Bowl XLI. His extensive industry background includes senior sales roles at Osram, LEE Colortran and Hollywood Rentals, among others. He also served as Founder and Principal of KATIE Group, Inc. in Los Angeles.
Succeeding Keith is Richard Lund, who joined the company on February 21 to oversee sales in the metropolitan Los Angeles area. Richard has broad experience in the lighting industry, bringing over 20 years of expertise to the Color Kinetics sales team. He most recently served as the U.S. Inside Sales Manager at Strand Lighting, where he managed the inside sales and customer service operations. He was previously co-founder of ControlLite, a specialty agency to represent entertainment equipment manufacturers, and has served in senior sales positions at Peterson Vine Associates and Architel Systems. He is also an active member of industry associations, including the Illuminating Engineering Society.
