Bandit Lites and Deftones Together Again for North America Tour

Bandit Lites is currently working again with Grammy-award winning alternative rock band Deftones. The summer tour includes dates across the United States, wrapping up in Canada. Deftones has already made their way through Mexico, South America, Japan, Australia and Europe this year supporting their most recent album, ‘Saturday Night Wrist’.

Lighting designer Anthony "Geddy" Kordyjaka chose to use ACL's , PAR 64s, 4-Lite Moles, 2-Lite Inline Moles, Martin MAC 500s, AC Color Blocks, Coemar Par Lite LEDs, Pixeline 4' 1044s and Martin Atomic 3000 strobes and scrollers. Lighting was controlled by a Compulite Vector Red.

Kordyjaka said that a challenge for this particular tour was that the lighting rig had to be designed so that it could adapt to a variety of venues yet still keep the key items in place. This rig is almost all LED technology, which Kordyjaka says, “is perfect for the venues that we are going into. There isn’t the need to have as much power and the number of lights is less than what I would normally need as I can get any color out of the unit.”

Kordyjaka is assisted by lighting technician, Gregory " Griff" Griffith. He would also like to thank security guard, Bob Bender for his contribution.

Bandit vice president Richard Willis added: “It is always a pleasure to work with Geddy, Eddie Kercher and Bobby Schneider as well as the entire Deftones production team. All the hard work these people put into the tour is apparent when you see the final product. Great show. Great Bandit. Great fun.”
