Bandit Lites Honored Again with Parnelli Award

Bandit Lites has been honored again as ‘Lighting Company of the Year' at the 2008 Parnelli Awards Ceremony. The annual awards event took place at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino on October 24, 2008 in conjunction with LDI. Rock & Roll Legend, Alice Cooper hosted the event. Bandit president, Pete Heffernan, vice presidents Richard Willis and Mike Golden and San Francisco General Manager, Dizzy Gosnell were among Bandit employees to attend the awards ceremony and accepted the award on Bandit's behalf.

Bandit Lites has clients touring throughout the United States and Europe. Current Bandit clients include Farm Aid, Jimmy Buffett, Toby Keith, Queen & Paul Rodgers, Keith Urban, Pink, Enrique Iglesias, Rascal Flatts, Santana, Ben Harper, Carrie Underwood and many others.

Bandit Chairman, Michael T. Strickland, commented: "We wish to thank the entire global staff at Bandit Lites for making this award possible. Since 2001, the Parnelli Awards have been awarded to those that display the highest achievements and the most respected innovations. The award recognizes cutting edge, influential professionals and their contributions, honoring both individuals and companies. The Parnelli Award marks the second ‘Lighting Company of the Year' Award that Bandit has received in 2008. Bandit was also named ‘Lighting Company of the Year' at the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards earlier this year.
