Sennheiser and JamSpot Team Up to Promote Sennheiser Microphones

Sennheiser has announced that it has joined forces with JamSpot, Inc. to promote Sennheiser performance microphones to up-and-coming musicians.
With two state-of-the-art studio complexes in the Boston area, JamSpot is the leading provider of high-quality music and entertainment services in New England. Serving more than 5,000 musicians from across the country and around the world, JamSpot develops, builds and operates professional sound studios for rehearsal, recording, education and performance. Sennheiser's e 935 and e 835 wired live performance microphones are now being used in all of JamSpot's showcase rooms.
"We're very excited about working with Sennheiser in upgrading the microphones for our Showcase rooms," said Steve Folsom, JamSpot's chief engineer and former FOH engineer for Melissa Etheridge. "Artists ranging from local bands to national acts use JamSpot for pre-production rehearsals, tour preparation and label showcases. Our job is to give them the highest quality, most productive workspace possible. Adding Sennheiser mics to the mix will definitely help us accomplish our goal.
"Gear selection is always a challenge for us," continued Folsom. "We're looking for mics that sound great and can stand up to intense use. Our rooms often run full-out seven days a week and support a wide variety of artists playing every genre of music, from rock to folk to reggae to hip-hop, and even classical. Sennheiser evolution mics deliver performance, reliability, and the flexibility we need at an affordable price point."
"We're very excited to be working with JamSpot," said David Missall, market development representative for Sennheiser's professional and music industry products in the Northeast region. "There's no question that putting Sennheiser mics in the hands of the thousands of musicians who play at JamSpot is a great way to show off their superior fidelity in a real working environment. It's one thing to test a mic without any accompaniment in a retail store, but quite another to go through your entire set with the band at full volume!"
Sennheiser and JamSpot are in the process of scheduling a series of promotional events, including Sennheiser product clinics and workshops to be held at JamSpot in the upcoming months.
