MA Lighting Training Week for grandMA2 Series

MA Lighting recently held a training week for its worldwide distributors. With weeks flying by before the final launch of grandMA2, the objective of the training session at MA Lighting's headquarters in Paderborn was ‘Prepare 2 Launch'. Thirty-two partners participated and learnt more about the features of the new grandMA2 series.

Similar to the current grandMA series, grandMA2 controls all kinds of lighting genres and consequently takes the outstanding performance of grandMA to an even higher level. The application-oriented, intuitive accessible user interface ensures that every user, regardless of which segment he is working in, feels immediately familiar with every grandMA2 console. The fast and easy programming unit and a flexible and fast playback section help everybody to react as quickly as possible to any situation. Thanks to the new graphical ways of programming and the fully integrated system in terms of networking the programmer's job is becoming much more comfortable.

The Training attendees studied the whole system including its additional new system components like the MA Network Processing Unit (NPU), grandMA2 remote, the very much enhanced software versions of grandMA 3D and grandMA video plus the new network protocol MA-Net2.

"This training week was the next consequent step in bringing grandMA2 closer to the markets," commented Michael Althaus, managing director of MA Lighting International. "Our distributors are all well prepared and are going to demonstrate the console's comprehensive performance and innovative approach in their countries."

Accompanying the training week was the shipment of grandMA2 consoles to all MA Lighting distributors for demonstration purposes. This will offer lighting designers, programmers and operators as well as rental companies and event producers worldwide the chance to get hands-on with the new series and learn more about the significant enhancements offered by this new generation of consoles.
