Concert Audio Presents the Vneo 12 Full-Range System

The new systems are rated at 400 watts (RMS) / 800 watts (peak). The frequency range runs from 68 to 18,000 Hz (+/- 3 dB) with 8 ohms nominal impedance. The Vneo 12 has a coverage pattern of 80° (horizontal) x 50° (vertical) (–6 dB).
The compact full-range system can be used as a single box and monitor or – in connection with complimentary subwoofers – in passive or two-way powered mode. For this reason, the developers of the Concert Audio Vneo 12 have equipped it with a 1 x 12” conical loudspeaker with a 75 mm voice coil as well as a 1 x 1” HF driver with a 44 mm voice coil employing L-C-D technology to achieve brilliant treble reproduction even at the highest levels and an 80° x 50° CD horn – both with neodymium components. The specifications further include an integrated passive crossover with phase and frequency response correction.
Concert Audio’s engineers have set particular store by practicality – the 530 x 346 x 330 mm (H x W x D) enclosure weighs only 13.2 kg and offers optimal handling characteristics. The matt black systems are delivered in compact yet resilient enclosures in which moisture-proof glued birch plywood combines with a scratch and impact-proof textured plastic coating to create an ensemble robust enough to withstand the rigours of life on the road. The front of the speaker systems is protected by a 1.5 mm thick round-holed grille backed with opaque black acoustic foam.
Equally practical is the integrated stand mount, which offers four angles of tilt (+/- 7.5°, +/- 15°) – a stable, patented solution that dispenses with mechanical moving parts. The non-slip rubber feet on the top and bottom of the systems and the recessed carrying yoke on the top are further attractive features of the Vneo 12.
Equipment from Concert Audio – which is 100% ‘Made in Germany’ – is distributed exclusively by Think Abele of Nufringen.
