Sky High at the Fenway Center with Tomcat

Sky High at the Fenway Center with Tomcat

In 2007 Tomcat USA completed a project with Barbizon Light in Boston for Northeastern University which helped to complete the transformation of St. Ann's Parish to a new performance space for the university now known as the Fenway Center.
For its part, Tomcat supplied a 46' X 27' grid comprised of two meter Sky ladder truss - seven bays wide and four bays deep.   All of the pieces were powder coated black.  Sky Truss offered the perfect solution for a venue with limited options for rigging points.
Sky is a ladder beam truss product with a sturdy spigot connection that won Best Debuting Product at the 2006 Live Design show.  It's designed for light, medium and heavy duty applications over short and large spans. It utilizes a "Star Connection" system or it can be connected directly.  Sky offers a range of accessories, making it ideal for building grid structures as well as modular trusses. Its ladders are light weight and easy to handle, allowing for quick assembly and disassembly.  Sky also stores on trolleys, so it takes up less space and is easy to transport.  Because Sky has very few restrictions or set sizes it is easy to construct linear or curved roof systems.  It is compact and modular, strong and reliable.
No matter the venue or the project, from rock concerts to Broadway shows, from roof systems to permanent retrofitting projects, TOMCAT can deliver the solution with standard products or custom built solutions.
