Lightswitch Adds Design Team Partner
Lightswitch has announced the formation of a new division, Lightswitch Architectural, to be headed in Chicago by long time design team member, Avraham (Avi) Mor. Mor (pictured) has also become a full Partner of Lightswitch.
"Avi has been an incredible asset from the moment he joined us five years ago," comments Lightswitch principal, John Featherstone. "We are delighted to be able to recognize his importance in the current and future growth of the company. While we have been actively creating lighting environments for architectural projects, Lightswitch is known for innovation and creativity at events, exhibits and in the entertainment arena. Calling out the focus on architectural projects will further enhance the importance of lighting design to this important business segment."
Mor holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Architectural and Theatrical Lighting design from the University of Kansas and has earned his LEED accreditation. He is actively involved in the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) as president of the Chicago section, and is an associate member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a LEED Accredited Professional.
