Coolux Presents the new Widget Designer
The new Widget Designer PRO is an add on program that provides visual, node based programming tools to create interaction between Pandoras Box Software and external protocols and applications. The available input, filter and output nodes represent building blocks that recognize, process or forward protocols and data. Incoming data can be manipulated with filtering nodes while output Nodes route the data to any Pandoras Box parameter or external applications.
The interaction, routing and tracking possibilities target multiple markets and usages in combination with Pandoras Box live video compositing, video distribution and show control features. Projection onto moving sets is implemented as easy as triggering matrix switchers via the coolux Media Manager or Art-Net. Complete show sequences can be set off via a light barrier in an installation, MIDI can be converted to GPI triggers and a revolving stage can be tracked with millimetre accuracy in real time.
The Widget Designer PRO does not require the user to learn any programming language. The internal scripting language has been extended to more than 150 commands. Visual Programming via drag and drop of nodes is the key for a fast workflow in complex programming situations.
Create menu or logic based scenarios that can be remote controlled via common industry protocols such as RS 232, TCP, UDP, Midi, Art-Net and many more. The Widget Designer PRO features the integration of GPI triggers, 0-10 volt inputs and industrial sensors via the coolux Sensor link for real time automation and tracking. Interactive inputs via touch less infrared bars and infrared scanners are supported and pre programmed. Further supported input devices include: Wii controller; any type of Midi Controller; Joystick; Gyro Mouse as well as Sound to data. A keyboard shortcut manager makes it easy to add commands and scripts to a keystroke. External controllers that send commands as keyboard strokes are integrated in a flash.
