J. R. Clancy Adds Mechanical Engineer

J. R. Clancy, Inc. has announced the addition of Nathan Jones (pictured) to the company's mechanical engineering staff. In his new position, Jones will work with Clancy's product development team on the design and specifications for new products.
A recent graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Penn., with two Bachelor's degrees-one in mechanical engineering, and one in theatre-Nathan completed two internships before arriving at Clancy. His first involved special events management and daily operations at Walt Disney World Entertainment in Orlando, Fla., where he participated in the technical operation of performances. Moving to Las Vegas for his second internship, Nathan worked in the mechanical department of Fisher Technical Services, completing detail drawings and assisting in an installation of theatrical equipment at the Wynn Hotel.
"These two internships really solidified my interest in the back end of theatrical production," Nathan noted. "I knew I wanted to be involved in designing how the equipment works."
A native of Brewster, Mass., Nathan now lives in Liverpool, NY.
