Bruno Garros Appointed VP - Distributor Sales at Martin Professional
Bruno Garros, Martin Professional's long time managing director at Martin Professional France S.A, has been appointed VP - Distributor Sales for Martin Professional A/S.
Garros, who guided one of Martin Professional's most successful subsidiaries for over 10 years, will work in close cooperation with Martin's team of Area Sales Managers to ensure the further development of existing distributor relationships, as well as focus on penetrating new markets. Other duties will include initiation and implementation of price structures, sales campaigns and distributor terms in general.
Commenting about the challenge ahead, Garros, who assumed the position on March 1, 2009, said: "I believe that with my vast experience in cooperating with local customers on a daily basis - knowing their needs and expectations - I will be able to develop a closer relationship with our distributors that adds value to their business as well as ours.
"An opportunity like this, to become part of the strongest partner network in the entertainment industry, and with an agenda to further grow the Martin top line via new markets, a stronger presence in key markets, and more value added solutions, was simply a challenge I could not turn down."
Christian Engsted, Martin Professional A/S CEO, commented on the new structure: "The creation of this new position is part of our long term plan and I am pleased that Bruno has accepted this challenge. I strongly believe that he has the relevant experience to add value to our existing distributor relationships - not only in respect to entertainment and architectural sales, but also his ability to coach our partners on the business itself.
