Trace Adkins Stands Tall with Bandit

One of the biggest stars in country music, literally, is the 6' 7" Trace Adkins. The newest addition to the resume for Trace is star of the TV show The Celebrity Apprentice, with Donald Trump. The booming voiced, towering, tall pony tailed hunk was also a football player in his youth and it shows in his build. This Louisiana native has been in the entertainment industry since 1996 and is currently touring in support of his newest work, X (Ten).

Tour Manger Jeff Gossett, production manager Benny Durham and lighting designer Jeff Lavallee have worked with Bandit for some time with Trace and the relationship is a great one. Lavalle has captured the rock-n-roll sprit of Adkins with his up-tempo rollicking lighting presentation. Using MAC 2000 wash and spot fixtures, along with High End Studio Beams, Maxedia media servers and a Jands Vista console; Lavalle works his magic each night for Adkins. Brent Barrett at Bandit handles the daily needs of the Adkins tour.

The tour has programmed twice at Bandit Lites rehearsal facility, Venue One, in Nashville. Venue One is a full service facility that allows an entire show to be flown with band gear and stage set installed for a complete rehearsal. Lavallee spend several days in Venue One programming even the smallest of details for his show. All of this was at no cost to Trace Adkins!

The high-energy show is slated to tour on and off all year long, as Adkins continues on his journey at the top of the music world. The one time voice-over star for KFC made several prime time TV appearances in 2008 on dramas and is slated as one of the entertainers on the 2009 CMA Music Festival to be held in June.
