Robert Sheffield Joins Bosch Communications Systems Division
Bosch Security Systems, Inc., Communications Systems Division has announced that, as of May 2009, Robert Sheffield (pictured) has accepted the position of key accounts manager for the Install Market.
A long-time musician and small recording studio owner, Sheffield brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having been involved at many levels of the integration market for 28 years.
Sheffield began his career in 1981 as a sales manager with contractor Bridgewater Custom Sound. After a period as an independent rep, Sheffield went to work as a regional account manager for Tascam, before accepting a position as sales manager and VP of sales for full compass systems, where he stayed for eight years and helped to establish a contracting and integration department. After Full Compass, Sheffield worked for a year as a regional sales manager for a leading mixing console manufacturer. He then worked for four years with rep firm Audio Biz before moving to Starin Marketing, where he served as an external pro audio sales representative for Bosch for five years.
Sheffield's responsibilities in his new position will include the coordination of sales programs, customer service, and contact information to key accounts at both a national and local level for the Installation and Integration market.
"I'm thrilled to be working in this capacity for Bosch," says Sheffield. "I'm looking forward to forming new and lasting relationships and finding as many ways as possible to make our customers glad to be doing business with us."
