Oakenfold and LiteConsole Year of Success

Oakenfold, commissioned Litestructures, in association with partners Pioneer and Anolis, to design and manufacture a special touring console to highlight Oakenfold's stage presence. The Litestructures team delivered a unique design for the LiteConsole. The impressive system (3m wide, 1.5m high and 1.2m deep) is lightweight, modular, easy to assemble and incorporates Litestructures high level of attention to detail. The console accommodates two 50' plasma screens at the front and has Oakenfold's name stylishly laser cut on the front fascia along with the Perfecto label branding on side panels.
Oakenfold was so pleased with the result that he agreed to a pre-tour test-drive of the final rig on the Litestructures stand at PLASA Show '08. Since then, Oakenfold's LiteConsole toured the globe following his hectic schedule supporting Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour and Lenny Kravitz to name a few.
Paul Oakenfold comments: "I have been very impressed with the level of professional support and advice received from the Litestructures team. I am delighted with the beautiful piece of staging technology that has been produced. It made sense to custom design my own console for such high profile appearances. More importantly a console that is easily transported and can be adapted, expanded for any specific reason or occasion, and is visually appealing."
LiteConsole by Litestructures represents an innovative, portable and high visual impact solution for many applications in corporate presentations and live performances. They can be used as musician/DJ/production work surfaces, eye-catching information booths at trade shows and exhibitions, TV/video recording projects, temporary retail outlets/sales promotion counters in shopping malls, airports, and much much more.
