New Shure Phone Headset Dual and Triple Driver Earphones for in-ear Monitoring
At this year's Consumer Electronics Show CES, held January 7-10, 2010 in Las Vegas, Shure presented two new professional sound isolating earphones and a headset.
Developed for the performing musician, the SE425 and SE535 earphones provide professional audio quality to audiophiles and musicians alike. With new sound signatures, renowned isolation from ambient noise and high wearing comfort, both earphones are ideal for in-ear monitoring or mobile listening devices such as the iPhone or the iPod.
The choice for both demanding professionals and audiophiles, the SE535 uses Triple High Definition MicroDrivers - a dedicated tweeter and dual woofers - for spacious sound and rich bass. Featuring Dual High Definition MicroDrivers, the SE425 uses a dedicated tweeter and woofer for accurate and balanced sound. Both earphones come with a wide assortment of accessories including sound isolating sleeves in multiple sizes for up to 30 dB of isolation from ambient noise.
The combination of a new ergonomic form factor, a cable with formable wire and a wide assortment of accessories ensures a secure, comfortable fit even over long periods of time. In addition, the cables are detachable and lockable, enabling easy replacement and extending the life of your investment.
The much anticipated SE115m+ Sound Isolating Headset with Remote + Mic will be available mid January in the UK. Ideal for use with the iPhone 3GS and other music phones the SE115m+ allows users to adjust the volume, control music and video playback, record voice memos and answer or end calls via an integrated three-button remote and microphone. Based on the renowned SE115 earphone, the SE115m+ provides resonant bass and sound isolation from ambient sound.
The SE115m+ is made for iPod nano (4th and 5th generation), iPod classic (120GB/160GB), and iPod touch (2nd generation). The remote is supported by iPod shuffle (3rd generation). It works with the iPhone 3GS; audio is supported by all iPod and iPhone models. The SE115m+ requires software version 1.0.3 for iPod nanon (4th generation), 2.0.1 for iPod classic (120GB), and 2.2 or later for iPod touch (2nd generation), Blackberry and other music phones with a 3.5mm jack (level of functionality is phone dependent).
The SE425 and SE535 will be available in two colour variations, clear and metallic. Both earphones are expected to ship mid-2010.
