USA – Country music sensation Chris Janson (managed by TK Kimbrell of TKO Artist Management) is taking Music City by storm, so naturally when the time came to record live from the red carpet for the 50th Annual CMA Awards Red Carpet Show for AUDIENCE Network at famed Nashville honky tonk 'The Stage on Broadway,' he wanted the concert lighting to be extraordinary. Lighting designer Victor Fable called upon Bandit Lites to supply lighting for the event which featured a full set of Janson’s hits, including his famed, “Buy Me a Boat,” which was named the Country Song of the Year by iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Bandit supplied Ayrton Magic Dots, Ayrton Magic Blades, Chauvet Freedom Pars, GLP Spot Ones, MAC Auras and two grandMA 1 Lite consoles for control. Four vertical trusses with ACL 360 bars provided the energetic lighting looks needed to match the energy of Janson’s enthusiastic performance.

“That guy was on fire,” said Bandit crew chief Andy Knighton. “Fortunately the ACL 360 bars are so ambidextrous that they really gave the looks needed to match his incredible high energy.”

Bandit crew included Jon Houle, Tanner Peterson and Savannah Harden, who worked to get more gear into 'The Stage' then had ever been seen before.

“I believe we put this show together over the course of two days with Victor in LA doing the design based from venue pictures and descriptions from the scout team,” said Bandit’s vice president Mike Golden. “The gear order was rather ambitious but with creative adjustments from Victor on site as well as a very talented staff, it came together to be a gorgeous show. Chris Janson completely rocked the house and Victor captured it beautifully. I look extremely forward to the next time we have the opportunity to light this artist.”
