APG to Unveil Live Manager Software at JTSE 2017

France – APG, a French manufacturer of professional loudspeakers and the inventor of the Modular Line Array concept, will unveil APG Live Manager at the 2017 JTSE (Paris, 21st - 22nd November, stand 94). The new software will be presented alongside the successful Uniline Compact loudspeaker system, which is currently proving a resounding success in fixed installations as well as staging applications, both in France and overseas.

A result of the combined work of both the Active Audio and APG R&D teams, the new APG Live Manager remote control and monitoring software offers increased performance in a new user friendly graphic interface, allowing the user to control the entire APG range of products, from the DMS26 and DMS48 external processors to the DA50:4 and DA15:4 DSP amplifiers.

APG Live Manager allows the user to work offline in order to remotely prepare for any type of project, even those which require a complex configuration, and perform a number of background tasks from loading the loudspeaker presets to working on grouping functions.

The functionalities of the new APG Live Manager are divided into three main areas: a configuration mode for the preparation and installation phase, a setting mode for configuration and a control mode for live usage.

This new flexible software is already available on Windows and Mac devices, while a tablet version will be made available in 2018. APG will be organising demos on its JTSE stand to demonstrate the capabilities of the software.

Visitors will also have an opportunity to see APG’s flagship Uniline Compact (UC) range, which is enjoying groundbreaking success both on a French and international scale. The UC range comprises the UC206N (for mid and long range), the UC206W (for short and mid-range) and the UC115B subwoofer.

Two years after its launch, this compact loudspeaker has already convinced over thirty event and rental staging companies in France, and has also been adopted by a number of users in Germany, UK, China, South Korea and Hong Kong.

Fixed installation users are praising the flexibility of the UC system, which is perfectly adapted to all applications without compromising on the sound quality or power. A dozen entertainment and live venues switched to the UC system in 2017, including Le Grand T national theatre in Nantes (capacity: 850), Le Hasard Ludique concert venue in Paris, and the Royal Geographical Society which boasts an auditorium of 750 people in the heart of London. In recognition to the superiority of the system, the Uniline Compact is a finalist of the 2018 InAVation Awards in the Technology for Leisure Venues category.

APG’s Uniline Compact has also demonstrated its outstanding flexibility for indoor and outdoor events that cater for 100 up to 3,000 people, including the MoZ’aïques music festival in Le Havre.

Last but not least, APG will take the opportunity of exhibiting at the 2017 JTSE to announce the hire of a new sales engineer in the first quarter of 2018, who will be responsible for the French integrators and rental stagers network.
