UK – Over 10,000 people attended the inaugural Abingdon Summer Fireworks Festival which saw no less than four showcase firework displays choreographed to music, culminating with a spectacular performance from the evenings’ hosts, double British Firework champions, Illusion Fireworks Ltd. Crystalline audio plays a key role in the success of the event, so Illusion turned to AV productions specialists, Surrey-based Sound Solutions who provided a significant HALO-C line array system from EM Acoustics. The evening was deemed a huge success with one festival-goer remarking that the fireworks were the best she had ever seen, “even bigger than Disney.”

From 2015 to 2019, ETC manufactured and sold these product families in North and South America only. Now, ETC takes over the entire development and distribution process of these products across the globe.

Germany – The Great Tropical House lives up to its name. Completed in 1907 it remains one of the largest and most impressive self-supporting greenhouses in the world, housing more than 1,400 exotic plant species. On Friday 19 July, the impressive structure took on another important function when it served as the centre of the Berlin-Dahlem Botanical Garden’s Botanische Nacht, an annual one-day summer festival organised by TLT Event AG that features music, magic shows, fantastical tales and non-stop fun in the heart of the German capital.

UK – The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place in the grounds of Goodwood house in Sussex and brings together every aspect of the past, present and future of the automotive industry. As the name suggests, the event gives around 150,000 visitors the chance to get close up to Formula 1 cars, enjoy immersive technology experiences, witness the legendary hill climbs, stunt displays and discover the very latest models being brought to market by the world’s leading motor manufacturers. In every respect The Festival of Speed is 'the' British motor show and the makers’ display stands reflect its importance to the industry. The Sunday Times Driving website described the effort poured into the construction of the stands as no less than “mind-boggling.” Two eye-catching stands at the 2019 show which took place in early July, were those of iconic brands Mini and BMW, who both worked with leading marketing agency TRO to realise their visions.
