EM Acoustics teams up with TiMax for major series of demos at Music Bank Studios

UK – British loudspeaker manufacturer, EM Acoustics, has teamed up with Out Board, the global market leader in immersive spatial reinforcement and performer tracking, to announce a major series of demos to be held at SARM Music Bank Studios in London from 3rd-5th March 2020. These sessions will offer a unique opportunity to experience EM Acoustics’ very latest products, combined with demos of Timax spatial mixing, SFX animations and performer tracking in the comfort of London’s best rehearsal facilities.

EM Acoustics will demonstrate the revolutionary Reference Series R10 flagship point source loudspeaker, which can be seen for the first time anywhere at ISE 2020, stand 7-X250, along with the acclaimed HALO-B medium format line array system. Launched last year, this is an exciting opportunity to hear what EM Acoustics consider to be their best and most flexible line array system. EM Acoustics technical director Ed Kinsella and other EM Acoustics team members will be on hand to answer any questions throughout the events.

The second part of each session is an occasion to experience TiMax spatial mixing, SFX animation and performer tracking on a multichannel immersive EM Acoustics system. Demonstrations by Out Board’s Dave Haydon and Robin Whittaker will feature:

• TiMax SoundHub new HARDCore FPGA processing, PanSpace auto-calc spatial rendering and TimeLine showcontrol workflows,

• TiMax TrackerD4 all new Precision Stagetracking for live performer vocal localisation and fx panning.

Sessions are available at the following times:

Tuesday 3rd March – 2.45pm

Wednesday 4th March – 10am, 12.15pm, 2.45pm

Thursday 5th March – 10am, 12.15pm, 2.45pm

Each session is expected to last one hour and 45 minutes, including a short refreshment break, and there will be ample time to quiz the team from both EM and TiMax both during and after the session.
