USA – The Posty Fest, rapper Post Malone’s second annual live music festival held on 2 November in his home town of Dallas, marked the first use of Claypaky’s new Xtylos in the United States. Creative directors and designers Lewis James and Travis Brothers tapped 178 Xtylos fixtures for the event. Xtylos is a compact beam moving light with a tailor-made RGB laser source that’s a powerful engine for an incredible array of colours. The fixtures were utilised in conjunction with Production Resource Group (PRG), which was the lighting vendor for the production. The show also utilised 52 Claypaky Mythos 2 and 24 Claypaky Scenius Unico fixtures for the extensive lighting rig in the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas

Germany - Given the increasing spread of Covid-19 in Europe, Messe Frankfurt has decided to postpone Prolight + Sound 2020. The trade fair was originally planned for 31 March to 3 April. The health of exhibitors, visitors, contractors and employees has top priority for Messe Frankfurt. The new dates for the Global Entertainment Technology Show are from 26 to 29 May 2020. Visitor admission tickets continue to be valid.

USA – City Theatrical’s Multiverse wireless DMX/RDM technology was recently used to provide wireless DMX/RDM for the lighting installation by Dynamic Productions USA for Super Bowl LIVE presented by Verizon at Bayfront Park, a week-long, free-to-the-public fan fest leading up to Super Bowl LIV in Miami, Florida. A total of six Multiverse Transmitters and 20 Multiverse Nodes using Multiverse’s dual band 900MHz/2.4GHz technology were used to create six zones of wireless DMX throughout this 32-acre park from 25 January to 1 February, 2020.
