ABTT Online Seminars

Although the 42nd ABTT Theatre Show had to be postponed, the ABTT will be running the following seminars across the two days - 10th - 11th June 2020 - to celebrate when the show would have been held, allowing some much needed conversations to take place.

10th June

ALD: ‘A Spotlight on Better Conditions for the Lighting Industry’ and ‘The Future of Lighting’ 10.00 - 11.30

Johanna Town, (ALD) will be joined by Industry Representatives in discussing the need for clearer contracts and letters of engagement for all freelance lighting staff. and the best ways of using LED lighting and how in light of the EU regulations taking effect.

Technical Training in a New World? 12.00 - 13.30

Join TEC Chairman Sebastian Barnes, Mig Burgess (GSA), Jo Franklin (GSA), Roz Madison (RCS) and Rachel Nicholson (Backstage Academy) in exploring the next steps for Education and how to move forward in a post-COVID world.

Hair, Make-Up and Costume in the Performing Arts 14.00 - 15.30

Mental Health In These Times: UK Technical Backstage Entertainment Industry 16.00 – 17.30
