Following last month’s Day of Action which saw buildings across the UK lit up in red as a show of support, the #WeMakeEvents team has been busy capitalising on the extensive media coverage and attention this received. One of those involved is White Light’s managing director Bryan Raven, who comments: “The Day of Action was vitally important for our cause as it finally got people talking. There were a few government figures who weren’t particularly listening to our concerns prior to this and didn’t fully appreciate the scale of the crisis we are in. That certainly seems to have changed now and, whilst it may appear that the campaign has been slightly quieter for the past few weeks, this is only due to us putting all of our energies into the various meetings and surveys we’ve had to conduct to ensure the campaign continues to gain momentum.”

One of the only concerts allowed during Russia’s Covid-19 lockdown, it featured famous artists from Russia’s vibrant theatre, opera and cinema worlds, accompanied by the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra, which was conducted by Yuri Bashmet. Hong Kong – Located in Hong Kong, the 1,031-seat Ko Shan Theatre is ideally suited for traditional opera, dance, music, school functions or community gatherings. Already equipped with an advanced sound and staging system, the theatre also wanted to incorporate the latest in lighting technology as well. Looking to bring in a new LED theatrical luminaire to provide elegant colour-changing with a smooth, even wash, they worked with Pacific Lighting Ltd who installed a rig of AP-150 PAR LED luminaires from Altman Lighting.

It offers its inhabitants an eclectic programme of cultural events including national and local musicians, and artists. With more than 20 major concerts each year, in addition to a plethora of local events running across 13 different venues which vary in audience capacity from 240 to 1,800, Le Circuit wanted a single, modular, audio system that could be easily transferred from space to space.
