Elation World Premiere Proteus, Fuze and KL products await visitors to Prolight + Sound

Germany – The wait is over! Elation is returning to the Prolight + Sound show to work face-to-face with industry professionals to successfully realise their lighting projects. Elation looks forward to seeing visitors 26-29 April at Hall 12.1-B49/C49 in Frankfurt – in person! Elation is partnering with LMP to distribute Elation products in Germany.

Be the first to check out the latest cutting-edge luminaires in Elation’s industry leading IP65 Proteus line, including the new Proteus Excalibur, the brightest IP65 full-featured beam fixture ever created, plus the world premiere of the 70,000-lumen Proteus Brutus LED wash. New fixtures in Elation’s high-performance, high-value Fuze series are also on the docket, including the new Fuze MAX full-colour-spectrum LED moving head, and the world premiere showing of the Fuze Wash 500, a full-spectrum LED Fresnel moving head. Visitors can also get up close with new luminaires in Elation’s broadcast-optimised KL series, including the first ever showing of the KL Profile FC, a compact, full-colour ellipsoidal framing fixture and new KL Panel XL, a bigger, brighter and bolder version of Elation’s popular colour temperature-adjustable, full-spectrum KL Panel LED soft light. The Proteus Brutus is an extraordinarily powerful 70,000-lumen LED wash fixture with IP65 rating designed for piercing beam looks and high-intensity washes in any environment. A high efficiency 1200W 6,500K white LED engine works with CMY colour mixing, variable CTO and six-position colour wheel while a complete FX system features rotating gobos, animation, iris, and frost. An optional indexable framing module is also available. With a zoom range from 4° to 45° and an impressive 220mm (8.7”) front lens, the Proteus Brutus cuts through at great distances.

The Proteus Excalibur is a stunningly powerful IP65 beam moving head set to assume the role as the new 21st century searchlight. With extreme power (20,000 lumens), super narrow 0.8° beam (3.5° Expander Lens available), and wide front aperture, it excels at creating aerial light beams, throws of CMY colour, and air FX rivalling Xenon searchlights. It houses a wide array of gobos (25), prism overlays (four and eight facet) and more. The Excalibur uses Philips’ highly-efficient Flex lamp technology for long lamp life, lower power consumption and reduced fixture maintenance.

The Proteus Rayzor Blade is a combination of linear wash, high-intensity strobe line and SparkLED FX inside a compact IP65 linear fixture design. Available with six or 12 independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs, Proteus Rayzor Blade provides well-defined mid-air beams up to 12,500 lumens or exceptionally wide and even wash coverage. Two high-intensity strobe lines of cool white LED dots along with Elation’s exclusive SparkLED effects add depth and visual impact. Wide zoom and dynamic tilt axis add to its visual flexibility.

This compact yet extremely powerful LED wash effects luminaire with 5.6 to 44-degree zoom projects intense, well-defined mid-air beams, as well as an exceptionally wide and even wash coverage. Driven by 19 independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs, the Proteus Rayzor 1960 provides a powerful beam (over 17,000 lumens) that stands out on any stage. The oversized front lenses create a large surface enhanced by Elation’s SparkLED technology for a unique additional layer of effect. Continuous, speed-adjustable pan and tilt rotation adds another layer of dynamic effect from this versatile fixture.

The Fuze MAX is a 21,000-lumen full-spectrum LED moving head with RGBMA LED engine (92 CRI) that rivals 1000W/1200W class discharge fixtures. Available in Spot and Profile framing versions, the Fuze MAX has been designed for precision lighting applications such as theatre, broadcast and houses of worship where a wider chromatic spectrum (including dynamic whites), a full feature set and outstanding quality is required.

The Fuze Wash 500 is a full-spectrum LED Fresnel moving head fixture designed for theatre, television, events and a wide array of other precision lighting applications. It houses a 500W RGBMA LED engine and delivers a powerful output of up to 17,000 lumens with CRI of 92. It is designed for any application where an automated Fresnel fixture with outstanding and impactful colours, a wide zoom range and a soft field of light is required.

Elation adds to its leading line of dynamic pendant luminaires with the new Fuze Pendant Compact, an energy-efficient downlight intelligent enough to adapt to any environment and small enough to fit into a huge variety of spaces. Housing a full spectrum 144W RGBWL LED array, it produces beautiful colours as well as high CRI variable white tones. Colour temperature adjustment is from 2,400 - 8,500K. Convection cooled for absolute silence, a variety of mounting options and lens choices allow for precise light distribution.

The KL Profile FC is a compact ellipsoidal framing fixture with 305W RGBMA LED engine designed for a wide array of precision lighting applications. With a seven to 50-degree zoom, the fixture requires no additional lens tubes, reducing cost, complexity and providing excellent flexibility for any theatre or performance venue. Included is a 16-bit rotating gobo slot and full blackout framing system with a Fresnel wash conversion kit available as an option. Output exceeds 10,000 lumens.

Designers have turned to Elation’s colour temperature-adjustable KL Panel full-colour-spectrum LED soft light for livestreams and broadcasts of all types and now the company offers an XL version that extends the size of the original while emitting nearly twice the power and offering multi-zone control for dynamic effects. The new KL Panel XL soft light delivers superior output, precise colour temperature control, full-spectrum colour rendering and an even wash coverage. Optimised for the tunable white light requirements of broadcast, it is an ideal soft light source for many situations requiring outstanding performance and colour quality.

The KL Fresnel 6 FC is a full-colour soft light optimised for light critical and noise sensitive venues like broadcast and theatre. It is an ideal key and fill light source that projects a uniform wash of soft field light across the full colour spectrum, including dynamic white light. It houses a highly efficient 220W RGBMA LED engine and produces up to 8,000 field lumens. A 10 to 32-degree zoom and eight leaf barn doors allow for customized shaping of the beam.
