Europe – After production rehearsals in Copenhagen’s Royal Arena, Kygo kicked off his current European tour with four dates in Denmark, Sweden and Norway before heading into central and southern Europe. “We’ve just finished a run through his home market in Scandinavia and it pretty much sold out,” said production manager Joel Stanley. “Kygo has developed musically as a performer, though remained rooted in his own personality; he’s much the same person he was ten years ago. That's a strength.” That said, the tour is tinged with a certain sadness, as Stanley explains.

Germany – The largest folk festival in the world, the 189th edition of the Oktoberfest took place recently on the Theresienwiese in Munich. Across the event’s 16-day duration, more than six million guests of all ages visited the site, spreading out across streets, tents and beer gardens to take advantage of a huge variety of entertainment on offer and slaking their thirst with more than seven million litres of beer. One key venue at the site is the Paulaner Festzelt tent, which has been an integral part of the event since 1895.

Impressive LED set-up for Music Bank

Belgium – Once again, Innlights Displaysolutions was commissioned by Twisted Talent from Dortmund to implement the LED image technology for the “Music Bank World Tour”, which stopped off in Antwerp on 20 April 2024. “Last year, we commissioned Innlights to realise a huge LED set-up for Music Bank in Paris. The collaboration was excellent and it was immediately clear to us that we would engage Innlights Displaysolutions again this time,” explains Jörg Musielag, managing director of Twisted Talent from Dortmund. The specialist from Wuppertal therefore supplied and installed around 500 square metres of LED display technology for the event in Antwerp, including a 10 x 10m partially transparent InnScreen T3 screen in the centre of the stage, flanked by large lateral LED walls (two walls of 6 x 10m each) and other LED image strips. Two LED semi-circles above the stage, each curved over 25 metres, completed the setup to create an impressive stage design. Innlights was also commissioned with the trusses for the LED wall suspension to optimise the set-up processes. The rigging was carried out by Thöne & Partner as the supporting technical service provider, with whom Innlights has been cooperating for many years. In addition to the LED display technology, Innlights supplied InnVision SCXR Pro, its high-performance video controller for controlling the LED walls. Innlights implemented the feed, signal management and the signal paths between FOH and backstage with the Barco E2 event controller and signal connection via MTP fibre optics and installed the entire technology with its team in a single day. Jörg Musielag from Twisted Talent is very satisfied with the result: “Once again, the image quality was outstanding and provided a great LED stage backdrop for the K-Pop Festival. We would like to thank Innlights and its entire team for the reliable and flawless realisation”.
