Showlight is Back – Save the Date

France – Exciting News! Showlight, the much-loved quadrennial networking event for lighting professionals will return in May 2025. The host city for the 12th Showlight will be the delightful city of Dijon in France, the venue Le Parc des Expositions et Congrès de Dijon. 

Ranked as a must-visit destination, Dijon is one of France’s most beautiful cities with an historic centre, a fine arts museum and many cultural and gastronomic delights to be discovered. Located at the centre of France’s Burgundy region – the vineyards of which were recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with Dijon city centre – Dijon promises to be the perfect setting for this popular industry networking event. 

Showlight cannot wait to present a brand-new programme of Papers: be prepared to share the wealth of knowledge from lighting practitioners across theatre, television, concert touring, themed attractions, events and architecture on a diverse range of topics in a relaxed and convivial environment. There’s plenty of time to network and socialise in between Papers, enjoy face-to-face discussions with lighting designers and manufacturers alike and browse the supporting exhibition that runs alongside the Papers presentations. Students are actively encouraged to attend for an unprecedented opportunity to learn from those already working in the industry.

Please note the new dates for Showlight 2025 which, by popular demand, have moved from their traditional weekend and will take place from Monday 19th May 2025 to Thursday 22nd May 2025, commencing with the Welcome Reception on the Monday evening.

Details of the programme, Speakers and Papers, will be revealed in the coming months but, right now, save the date in your diaries.
