HH Audio Solution Welcome at Casa Mia

Norway – Casa Mia is a popular Italian restaurant located in the beautiful town of Lillestrom in Norway. Run by Antonio Lepore, who hails from southern Italy and has enjoyed more than 40 years in the hospitality business, Casa Mia presents traditional Italian food as well as well as a range of international dishes in a welcoming and friendly family-focused environment.

As an experienced restaurateur, Antonino is aware of the importance of high quality audio in creating exactly the right ambience for his customers and earlier this year took the decision to install a new sound system at Casa Mia.

Casa Mia engaged local technology specialists Norsk Tele og Data to install a solution and they in turn consulted with AV specialist distributor CBK about the best way forward. Following a site visit and meeting with the owner, Per-Øystein Berglund of CBK recommended HH Audio loudspeakers and subsequently designed a system for the venue.

He explains: “Casa Mia wanted a system that could reproduce audio as a ‘carpet’ in the restaurant, with a focus on very good coverage, the background music was to be present but not overbearing. I saw no phase problems in achieving this using a lot of loudspeakers, the soft furnishings and guests offer good sound absorption in the seating areas.

“We chose the HH Tessen TNi Series speakers for their all-round strengths. They’re well-designed to blend in with interiors and deliver excellent reproduction straight out of the box. They were easy to tune at Casa Mia to deliver warmth and clarity at relatively low levels.”

Norsk Tele og Data installed 12 HH Audio Tessen TNi-W6 6.5” wall-mounted loudspeakers (black) in the downstairs area of the restaurant, with a further 14 to cover most of the upstairs. For the remaining upstairs area where the ceiling is lower, four TNi-W4 4” speakers were deployed.

Per-Oystein Berglund concludes: “The HH Audio solution provided Casa Mia with an extremely cost-effective solution, delivering high value for their investment. I believe they are very pleased with the performance of their new system.”
